IONIK recognises that in today’s world it is increasingly important for engineers and operators alike to have a basic knowledge of materials, welding, corrosion, and corrosion mitigation techniques as well as a knowledge of risk, integrity management and HSE. For asset owners it is important that their maintenance and engineering staffs are able to recognise potential problems so that costly repairs or failures are avoided.
